FOR SALE - Hirth 110 hp w/ Engine Mount, overhauled Warp Drive Propeller (pusher configuration) & Hub $9,500 OBO
110hp Hirth, mdl F30 EP, two stroke 4 cylinder engine, YOM 2001, est 150-200 hrs time in service, 1200 TBO, Nikasil coated cylinders (very seizure resistant unlike the Rotax 582), dual spark plug heads, throttle assy (cable/lever) included, PVL dual CDI ignition, dual cooling fans with carbon fiber cylinder shrouds, dual Mikuni carbs, fuel pump, primer assembly, electric starter, ceramic painted exhaust mufflers, new exhaust gaskets and springs, all manuals (digital and hard copies) and some spares included.
Entire engine assembly, less propeller, weighs approximately 138 lbs. with a 1200 hr TBO, whereas the 64hp Rotax 582 engine assembly has an approximate weight of 123 lbs and a TBO of 300 hrs.
Note: The F-30 is still supported by Hirth; it shares the same parts as current F23, 3002 and 3003 models.
This is an excellent alternative for the Rotax 582 (more horsepower in the same footprint) as well as the 912 (same horsepower, less weight, greater savings in acquisition cost, far greater savings in operations and maintenance costs)
Warp Drive 3 blade propeller assembly, Nickle LE Pusher/Seaplane config, p/n C11350, with HP Hub, “0” Time with Fresh OH from Warp Drive (Mar 2025), documentation/logbook included.
Rotax 582 compatible Engine Mount, all new, 4 bolts and standoffs connecting engine to aluminum base embedded with 6 rubber engine vibration isolation mounts, which is commonly bolted to a “receiver” mount on the airframe.
I recently sold the airframe originally equipped with a Rotax 582 intending to upgrade with the Hirth, so it's is up for sale. The engine package is located in West Palm Beach, Florida.
